Headline: Veranstaltungen in 2018

Das Jahrestreffen der Zeitschrift GAIA steht unter dem Tagungsthema „Transdisziplinäre Forschung und Lehre“ und findet am Institut für transformative Nachhaltigkeitsforschung (IASS) in Potsdam statt.

IASS-GIZ Expert Round Table with insights from the China Renewable Energy Outlook and the international COBENEFITS project: in the context of the 2018 Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue, this round table brings together experts from research, ministries and the science-policy interface to mobilise the social and economic opportunities of renewable energy by opening and elaborating the toolbox of co-benefit assessments and improving their policy relevance.

CO2 utilisation technologies have shown the potential to reduce environmental impacts. However, benefits cannot be taken for granted, which is why it is acknowledged within the community that a comprehensive and standardised environmental and techno-economic assessment methodology is needed.

Energiewende bedeutet nicht nur Transformation auf internationaler Ebene, sondern auch einen Umwandlungsprozess bei jedem Einzelnen. Aus diesem Grund ist es besonders wichtig, dass den Wahrnehmungen der Bürger genügend Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt wird. Genau um diese Themen soll es bei einer Konferenz in Brüssel gehen.

Was wird aus Europa? Rücken die Staaten der Gemeinschaft wieder stärker zusammen oder läuft es eher auf eine reine Wirtschaftsunion hinaus? Und was bedeutet das für uns Europäer?
