In the framework of the DAAD TU Berlin Alumni Online Seminar, Energy Transition in Africa, Cooperations and Networks for Strengthen North-South and South-South Interventions, organized by the TU Berlin Alumni, the TUB Institute for Energy Engineering in cooperation with HEDERA Sustainable Solutions and in partnership with the African Center of Excellence in Energy for Sustainable Development from the University of Rwanda to be held on October 25-29, 2021, a photo and video exhibition complementing the virtual venue has been foreseen the week after the event, from November 1 to 5, 2021 and supported as well by the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies e.V.

The photo and video exhibition called Energy Transition in Africa - Awakening the Senses, with works by Pacifique Himbaza, will be hosted by The Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda to Germany, at its offices in Berlin, opening its space to the public the first week of November from 14:00 to 17:00 each day in Jägerstr 67-69, 10117 Berlin. The event aims to sensitise the audience on the definitions of energy access and energy transition and the wide spectrum of work done by different stakeholders in Rwanda to inspire people on the roles to take to contribute to the energy sector in Africa. The exhibition will enable a space where science and art connect and interact allowing guests to see, listen and watch the work, the realities and advances at headquarter levels and in the field of different organizations dedicated to improving energy access in Rwanda.  

Please be aware that the event will observe the sanitary 3G rules in line with the regulations set out by the Berlin Senate and at the entrance temperature will be measured.

The entrance is free of charge but registration is required. Visitors are welcome every day from Monday, November 1, to Friday, November 5, between 14:00 and 17:00 CEST. There will be three time slots for visiting: at 14:00, 15:00 and at 16:00. Each hour a group of 10 people maximum can visit the exhibition.
