Naja Dyrendom Graugaard kooperiert mit der Forschungsgruppe reIMAGINE Arctic Research: Relations, Ethics, and Methods zum Thema „Centering reflexivity and care: frameworks and spaces for decolonial knowledge production in the Arctic“. Die Zusammenarbeit knüpft an frühere Kooperationen mit der reIMAGINE-Forschungsgruppe an, wie z.B. ihren Workshop-Beitrag zur WEMA-Week of Exchange 2023 in Oulu, Finnland, eine gemeinsame Präsentation von Forschungsergebnissen beim Arctic Circle Berlin Forum 2024 oder in ihrer Rolle als Forschungspartnerin im EU-geförderten BIRGEJUPMI-Projekt, das 2025 begann. Frühere und laufende Kooperationen führen zu einem kontinuierlichen Austausch über die Frage, wie Räume geschaffen werden können, die eine reflexive und fürsorgliche Forschungspraxis fördern, insbesondere vor dem Hintergrund der unsicheren Machtdynamiken und Wissensregime in der Arktis. Die folgenden Themen sind von besonderem Interesse für die Kooperation: die Dominanz kolonialer Wissensregime in der Arktis, was die europäische/deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft von den zeitgenössischen Manifestationen des skandinavischen Kolonialismus am Beispiel des dänischen Exzeptionalismus lernen kann, welche institutionellen Rahmenbedingungen notwendig sind, um Individuen zu unterstützen, die sich mit dieser Art von kritischer Wissenschaft beschäftigen, und wie Affekt, Emotionen und eine Ethik der Fürsorge im Kontext dekolonialer Praktiken relevant werden.
