Die Zusammenarbeit mit Naja Dyrendom Graugaard baut auf bereits bestehenden Kooperationen auf, sowohl in ihrer Funktion als Affiliate Scholar als auch im Rahmen weiterer Projekte, etwa des laufenden, durch die EU geförderten BIRGEJUPMI-Projekts, das 2025 begonnen hat. Frühere und fortlaufende Kooperationen ermöglichen einen kontinuierlichen Austausch zwischen Mitgliedern der reIMAGINE-Forschungsgruppe und Naja Dyrendom Graugaard darüber, wie Räume geschaffen werden können, die eine reflexive und fürsorgliche Forschungspraxis fördern, insbesondere vor dem Hintergrund herausfordernder Machtverhältnisse und Wissensordnungen in der Arktis.

Grundsätzlich ist die Kooperation als eine Weiterführung und Vertiefung dieser Arbeitsbeziehung zu verstehen. Von besonderem Interesse sind dabei Fragen zur Dominanz kolonialer Wissensregime in der Arktis, zu möglichen Lernprozessen der europäischen bzw. deutschen Forschung aus gegenwärtigen Ausprägungen skandinavischer Kolonialität am Beispiel dänischer Exzeptionalitätsnarrative sowie zu den institutionellen Rahmenbedingungen, die notwendig sind, um Personen zu unterstützen, die in diesem Bereich kritische Forschung betreiben. Ebenso wird untersucht, inwiefern Affekt, Emotionen und eine Ethik der Fürsorge im Kontext dekolonialer Praktiken relevant werden.

Naja Dyrendom Graugaard wird weiterhin regelmäßig an Gruppentreffen und Veranstaltungen teilnehmen. Weitere Kooperationen können gemeinsame Publikationen sowie gemeinsame Konferenzpanels umfassen.
