Seit September 2017 arbeitet Dorota Stasiak am RIFS als wissenschaftliche Projektleiterin des transdisziplinären Projektes „Ko-Kreation und zeitgemäße Politikberatung". Zusammen mit ihrem Team versucht sie durch Forschung, Design und Expertimentieren das transformative Potential von Ko-Kreation vielseitig zu betrachten.

Dorota hat Politikwissenschaft (Magister und Doktor) und Angewandte Linguistik (Magister) an der Universität Warschau studiert. Sie absolvierte Forschungssemester an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München sowie an der Freien Universität Berlin und am Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung (im Rahmen ihres DAAD-Stipendiums). Sie ist zertifizierte Projektmanagerin (PRINCE 2 Foundation & Practitioner, Scrum Master), sowie Trainerin und Moderation (mit dem Schwerpunkt auf design thinking und Innovationsprozesse).

Vor ihrer Tätigkeit beim IASS Potsdam arbeitete Dorota an mehreren Forschungsprojekten (mit dem Fokus auf Politikberatungsprozesse und Institutionen, politikrelevante Expertise, sowie innovative Ansätze zur Politikgestaltung) und übersetzte zahlreiche sozialwissenschaftliche Bücher.

Sie engagiert sich für innovative Bildung und für neu gedachte Vereinbarkeit von Familie und Beruf.
