Philip Bernert has been working as a research associate at RIFS in the Transdisciplinary Spaces and Mindsets research group since September 2023. His work focuses on the impact and evaluation of transdisciplinary research approaches. In his previous work at Leuphana University Lüneburg, Philip has dealt with transformative sustainability research in real-world laboratories. In doing so, he has dealt with conceptual and practical issues of transdisciplinary research. From 2015 to 2023, he was involved in the design of the real-world laboratory "Zukunftsstadt Lüneburg 2030+" and the international project consortium GLOCULL. Another focus of his work was the development and implementation of transformative teaching and learning formats. As a lecturer, Philip has offered transdisciplinary student projects for Bachelor and Master students. Philip studied environmental and sustainability sciences. Philip is a member of the network Real-World Laboratories of Sustainability.
