
Sushovan Ghosh
Fellow
Sushovan Ghosh has been a RIFS Fellow since September 2026 and a Recognised Researcher in Earth System Services at Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS) since July 2024. Prior to joining RIFS, he worked on Destination Earth’s Climate Change Adaptation Digital Twin (Climate DT), contributing to the development of its energy use-case application package. He was awarded prestigious Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship by the Government of India during his doctoral studies. He received his PhD with distinction from Centre for Atmospheric Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. His research focuses on air quality, climate change, and their impacts on renewable energy resources. His doctoral research received an Editor’s Choice recognition. An enthusiastic science communicator, he has received several science communication awards, and his research has been featured in international media.
