Rosa Mae Patten has been working as a student assistant at RIFS in the Research Group Transformation of Consumption and Provision since March 2026. In October 2025, she started her master’s degree in Political Science at the Free University Berlin, where she also obtained her bachelor’s degree. In her bachelor’s thesis, she engaged with concepts of degrowth at the local level based on the example of doughnut economics. Her main fields of interest include socio-ecological transformation, feminist theory and international relations.
