Jorgen Bengt Eyrich

Jorgen Eyrich has been working as a student assistant at RIFS on the Link UDT project within the Democratic Governance and Action research group since February 2026.He has been pursuing a master’s degree in political science at the University of Potsdam since October 2025, focusing on topics such as participatory democracy and citizen engagement formats. During his previous bachelor’s degree in History, Politics, and Society, also in Potsdam, he examined the democratization and autocratization of the post-Soviet space and wrote his bachelor’s thesis on the role of informal practices and institutions in the democratization of Kyrgyzstan.
