Interdisciplinary, Participatory Engagement for Co-Developing Knowledge Communication Strategy
Throughout the overall run-time of the EU Horizon project ICEBERG, RIFS researchers contribute to developing an overarching framework that ensures research adherence to co-creation, ethics, diversity, equity, and inclusion in all WPs. During the project's General Assembly at the end of January 2026 in Bologna, RIFS, together with the non-profit organization Women of the Arctic, is organizing a participatory exercise for the interdisciplinary consortium to co-develop a knowledge communication strategy for the ICEBERG project. Partner organizations are invited to reflect on who the generated knowledge in ICEBERG is relevant for in local communities, how it can be communicated to local rightsholders and stakeholders in Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland), Iceland, and Svalbard, and how contributors outside the immediate scientific community can be appropriately credited in research publications and communication.
