Tabish Ansari obtained his PhD in Atmospheric Sciences from Lancaster University, UK in 2020 focusing on the topic of modelling, source attribution and short-term abatement of aerosol pollution episodes in China. He previously did a MS (by research) at IIT Madras, India in Environmental Engineering focusing on modelling of trace gases over India. After his PhD, he was a postdoctoral fellow at University of Galway, Ireland working on regional and urban scale modelling over UK-Ireland region. He later joined the University of Groningen as an Assistant Professor, Earth & Energy, where he taught courses on Earth System Science and Climate Data analysis and continued his research on atmospheric modelling. He joined RIFS in August 2022 to work on global modelling and source attribution of tropospheric ozone.
