After completing her studies in business communication in 2009, Sindy Engelmann initially worked in various companies in the field of human resources. She has been working at RIFS since 2017.

At the beginning of her career, she worked as a human resources administrator and was responsible for central administrative and organisational processes in the human resources department.

Since 2023, she has been working as a human resources controller. In this role, she is primarily responsible for operational human resources controlling, thereby supporting the strategic management of human resources-related issues at the institute. Her tasks include the preparation and analysis of human resources-related key figures, such as staffing levels, personnel costs and employment structures. She regularly prepares evaluations and reports to support decision-making for management and specialist departments.

Another focus is on data evaluation and reporting, for example by compiling statistics, evaluations and overviews for internal control processes and external reporting requirements. She also contributes to the further development of controlling instruments and data structures in the human resources department and supports the planning and tracking of personnel budgets.
