Since May 2025, Sascha Bärtschi has been serving as the Personal Assistant to the Scientific Director, Prof. Mark Lawrence, at RIFS. With many years of experience in executive assistance and a strong background in education and training, he contributes broad expertise in organization, communication, and project coordination to the institute's work.
Prior to joining RIFS, he worked for several years in Berlin at the Meerjungfrau Apnoe Akademie & Agentur Lifeguard, where he was responsible for site management, process optimization, and handling public tenders.
As a certified experiential educator and team trainer, Sascha Bärtschi was previously self-employed in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. His work focused on the design and delivery of training programs emphasizing team development, outdoor experience, and environmental awareness.
