Marion Davenas joined the Franco-German Forum for the Future as a research associate in January 2021. She studied political science at Sciences Po Paris and Freie Universität Berlin, with a particular focus on postcolonialism, critiques of racism, and critical whiteness. Before joining the Forum for the Future, she worked for seven years for civil society organizations in the field of anti-discrimination education. She became a certified mediator in 2019.

The focus of her work at the Forum for the Future is the development and facilitation of dialogue events with and for actors engaged in socio-ecological transformations. She accompanies and supports collaborative and co-creative processes and uses interactive and participatory methods to create spaces for dialogue, exchange, and mutual learning.
