Esra Kurshumlija

Esra Kurshumlija is a Research Fellow at RIFS since September 2026, focusing on urban air quality, greenhouse gas emissions, and climate mitigation in the Mitrovica region. She holds a Master of Science in International Management and Leadership, specializing in Environmental Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Agricultural Management from IBCM. She has experience in environmental management, project coordination, climate resilience, and capacity-building, including training farmers and rural women on climate adaptation. Esra also gained international horticulture experience through an internship at Kurt Weiss Greenhouses, Inc. in Long Island, New York. She is fluent in Bosnian, Albanian, and English, with basic conversational skills in Turkish.
