The urgency of tackling climate change requires concerted efforts from all sectors of society, emphasizing the need for profound change and people's responsibility to future generations. This research examines the impact of community participation in climate action, focusing on the tools used by the UNFCCC to promote climate action and the role of stakeholder engagement in effective climate governance. It examines how Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) drives behavior change and improves public participation in climate-related decision-making. The study addresses the motivations, challenges and perceived benefits of stakeholder engagement and analyzes the participation of non-state actors - such as non-governmental organizations, youth groups and businesses - in climate governance. Stakeholder participation increases the legitimacy and accountability of climate policy and integrates diverse perspectives and expertise into broader strategies. Through literature review and active participation in the SB60 conference in Bonn and COP29 in Baku, this study focuses on the historical development and current implementation of the six ACE elements - education, training, public awareness, participation, access to information and international cooperation.
