Chloë Sheahan is a research fellow at RIFS contributing to social science research on energy security and renewable energy. Specifically, she will be conducting interview research on how Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine affected the strategy, implementation, and impact of Germany’s energy policy. Her research is funded by a grant from Fulbright Germany. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Government and Legal Studies from Bowdoin College. Professionally, she has worked with both town and state government in Maine, USA to contribute to environmental policy. Her recent research has focused on perspectives of the proposed development of floating offshore wind energy in the Gulf of Maine.
