Headline: Großer Bremser USA

The article analyzes trends in climate protection and clean energy measures. It studies the role of the Trump Administration, of the U.S. states as well as of regional networks of state and non-state actors which are growing increasingly important for raising climate ambitions in the U.S. The article concludes that it is these types of efforts which Germany and the EU need to support while climate policy making under the U.S. federal government is a dead end.
